Bangil, East Java – The English Education Department (Tadris Bahasa Inggris) at Institut Agama Islam Nahdlatul Ulama (IAINU) Bangil officially launched its English Short Course Program on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Campus 2 IAINU Bangil. The program was designed to provide meaningful activities for students during their holiday break.
The short course attracted diverse participants, including not only students from the English Education Study Program but also students from other study programs within IAINU and members of the general public. The program was organized by the English Education Department through the TBI Student Association (HMP Prodi TBI).

During the opening ceremony, the Head of English Education Department, Mrs. Siti Munawaroh, M.Pd., delivered a welcoming speech emphasizing the dual purpose of the program. “This program is designed not only to improve students’ English language skills but also to announce to the world that there is an excellent English Education Department at IAINU Bangil,” she stated.
Mrs. Siti Munawaroh, M.Pd further highlighted the critical importance of English proficiency in today’s world. “English is highly needed in this digital era,” she emphasized, underscoring the relevance of the program to current global demands. The short course features a variety of interactive sessions focused on enhancing speaking and grammar abilities. With diverse participants and inclusive learning methods.
